B.I.S.S. Research, the exclusive research company offering a unique benchmarking of services and systems in the financial services sector, announced that Vermegs corporate actions system MegaCor has achieved the 2009 B.I.S.S. Accreditation. The independent, corporate actions, industry panel, highlighted in their scores several notable features of MegaCor but made particular distinction in its notification functionality. The notification functionality in a corporate actions system is one of the prime requisites and MegaCor impressed with the quality of its solution. The resulting benchmarking report also outlines the potential of the system to support a wide range of different business sectors and types of services.
The results show an outstanding achievement for MegaCor and Vermeg, as after the annual review, the benchmark tests this year, were extensively enhanced and additional categories were included, making it the toughest since the first benchmarking in 2003, says Gary Wright, C.E.O., B.I.S.S. The benchmarks included areas of operational risk, client services, regulatory and a wide range of financial product capability.
