US stock and bond funds experienced net inflows of $13.9 billion in October. Domestic Equity funds led the way with net inflows of $8.1 billion, followed by International/Global with a $7.7 billion intake. American Funds topped all complexes with $6.5 billion of net inflows, while the Growth Fund of America gathered an estimated $1.4 billion to lead the fund sales charts. The Mutual Fund Net Flows release includes ETFs in the universe of mutual funds, but Fund-of-Funds are included at a fund and objective level but are excluded from firm and industry level totals.
