The value of the combined assets of exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in the US rose 0.7% to $350.32 billion in September, according to the Investment Company Institute (ICI). Over the past 12 months, ETF assets increased $90.86 billion, or 35.02%. Assets in domestic equity ETFs increased $50.83 billion since September 2005, and global equity ETF assets rose $35.28 billion during this period.
