UpTick Data Technologies, a provider of personalized investment reporting to fund managers and investment advisers in the United States, announced today that it is making its monthly US mutual fund market commentary report available at no cost to investment professionals.

The report examines performance in five different fund categories – diversified equity, specialised equity, taxable fixed income, non-taxable fixed income and blended – and will be delivered to subscribers by email no later than the seventh day of each month.

“Investment advisors are faced with an ever increasing need to acquire and share meaningful content with their clients,” says Ward Harris, Managing Principal of McHenry Consulting. “Timely, objective and useable information leads to better decisions. UpTickT’s monthly report provides an alternative to both do it yourself and big brand commentary.”

The monthly mutual fund market commentary product is one of ten US mutual fund reports produced by UpTick. The firm draws on data from 13,000 mutual funds gathered by Thomson Financial, which delivers over 100,000 unique mutual fund reports online each month. These products can be white-labelled by investment advisers.

UpTick Data Technologies produces investment information for fund and other wealth managers. It delivers personalized reporting products to clients such as Fidelity and Thomson One. UpTick founder Tom Elliott is a former financial analyst with Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, and co-founder of Research Magazine and Research Data Group. “One size fits all investment reporting and analysis can not effectively enlighten today’s savvy investment professionals or their clients,” he says.
