UBS Promotes Chris Hagstrom to U.S. Head of Prime Brokerage

UBS has promoted Chris Hagstrom to the newly created position of head of prime brokerage in the U.S.

Hagstrom has been in the prime brokerage division of UBS for nine years, most recently serving as head of U.S. prime brokerage sales. In his new role, Hagstrom will be responsible for sales, capital introduction, business consulting services, equity finance sales and client services in the U.S.

“Having Chris in this role will also help us better align the prime brokerage business with the rest of the equity franchise in the region,” said Reinhardt Olsen, global head of prime brokerage for UBS.

Before coming to UBS, Hagstrom spent nine years in stock borrow loan at Société Générale Securities Services.
