Tullett Financial has expanded its international market coverage on SwapMarker(tm). All subscribers will now automatically receive a single global service providing the most complete suite of real-time capital markets information available.
“Following the tremendous growth of SwapMarker North America, we have decided to enhance our offering by releasing this new premium content to create a single definitive global SwapMarker product”, said David Mukerji, Director and Global Head of Sales for Tullett Financial. “SwapMarker, in its new global format, aims to satisfy our customers demand for superior capital markets information from one supplier that is consistent across all major vendor platforms”
Tullett Financial has spent the previous 12 months implementing the latest technical infrastructure that allows it to capture far broader and deeper information directly from the workflow systems of Tullett plc brokers. Tullett information has long been regarded as the principal reference data for the interest rate swaps market since the mid 1980s and these enhancements further cements this status.
SwapMarker’s expanded coverage will include Swaption volatility smiles for US Dollar and Euro, U.S. Municipal and Agency derivatives plus expanded EONIA information. The enhanced service also provides access to Scandinavian and Sterling interest rate swaps and will shortly offer expanded coverage from AsiaPac markets. In addition to these more traditional markets, SwapMarker now also includes data on emerging markets such as Poland, Czechoslovakia, Slovakia, Hungary and South Africa.
Sales of SwapMarker have been very strong since its initial launch in January 2002 due to most major asset management firms, hedge funds, issuers and major dealers demanding Tullett capital markets information for use within their decision support terminals of choice. 90% of the world’s top financial institutions now subscribe to SwapMarker.
SwapMarker can be accessed via Bloomberg (SMKR) GO, Reuters 3000Xtra and Bridge Station on (SMKR). Also available on CQG and Thomson ONE.
