HSBC’s Clive Triance will relocate from London to Hong Kong at the end of this week.

The global head of sales and business development for Banks and Broker Dealers’ move is an extension of his previous role to include the major centres where HSBC has a sales and relationship management presence, such as Singapore, Hong Kong and Tokyo and the U.S..

The bank will look to take its experience acquired from running the European desk out of London to Asia in order to create global view for customers.

As a result of Triance’s relocation there will be some as yet undisclosed personnel changes in HSBC Europe.

Read the upcoming Spring issue of Global Custodian magazine for Triance’s views on outsourcing.
