Rgis Castagn has joined Trema as General Manager, Southern Europe, Middle East and Africa region He has a specific remit to develop the company’s presence in France, where its research and development centre is based. Trema clients in France include Banque de France, France Telecom, Valeo and Aventis.

The recruitment of Rgis Castagn follows a series of regional appointments, including Rudi Schlett as General Manager for Central Europe and Thomas Bergqvist as General Manager for Northern Europe.

Castagn joins Trema from GL Trade, where he held the position of Sales Director, Southern Europe, responsible for regional offices in Paris, Brussels, Madrid, Geneva and Johannesburg. Prior to that he was a General Manager for Continental Europe & the Middle East at Standard & Poor’s Institutional Market Services.
