Trayport, a supplier of electronic trading systems, has added functionality to its flagship trading platform, Global Vision 8 (GV8).

The enhancements include improved spread functionality and screen customisability. The European Energy Derivatives Exchange N.V. (Endex) is one of the early adopters of the platform.

“On 10 December last year, we launched our Endex Futures Exchange using Global Vision 8.3,” says Stephan Follender Grossfeld, Endex CEO. “Since the launch, trading volumes in the listed Dutch power contracts have been strong. Its efficiency and user-friendly interface have meant our growing number of participants are able to install the application, connect to our platform, and start to trade quickly and simply.”

New features include links Excel; improved spread functionality; new order parameters; and improved customisability. Edmund Hor, Trayport’s Managing Director says Global Vision 8.3 “shows our commitment to software development and our responsiveness to our customers, serving their needs across different asset classes. GV8.3 demonstrates our belief in developing an easy-to-use front-end with a sophisticated rules-based matching engine.”
