TradingScreen Inc. appointed Paolo Gilardi as head of US foreign exchange sales.
Gilardi will drive the firms continued growth into the regional FX trading community and is based at TradingScreen’s New York headquarters.
Gilardi has more than 20 years of experience as a buy-side trader. Before joining TradingScreen, he worked in senior roles at ING Capital Markets and Credit Agricole in New York. He also has more than a decade worth of experience in senior roles at J.P. Morgan.
“I am here because TradingScreen is the future,” says Gilardi. “FX trading is moving to the screen from the phone. That is where the future lies, and TradingScreen has helped drive that migration.”
Phillippe Buhannic, CEO of TradingScreen, adds: “Paolo has a wealth of experience and insight into the FX world, acquired as a senior trader at some of the most respected firms in the industry. TradingScreen has stayed a leader in foreign exchange because of the firms deep understanding of the business, so we are very excited by what Paolo can bring to this role.”
