TradeStation has promoted Edward Codispoti to its executive management team as CFO of TradeStation Group, Inc.

Codispoti has served as the company’s corporate controller and vice president of accounting since September 2007 and was also named the company’s chief accounting officer in February 2010. He previously served in many financial capacities for Kos Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and Subsidiaries, then a publicly held pharmaceutical company, including serving as vice president of Financial Reporting and Assistant Controller. Codispoti’s other financial positions have been with Independent Purchasing Cooperative, Inc. and Marex, Inc.

“We are thrilled to have Eddie as our CFO,” says Salomon Sredni, president and CEO of TradeStation Group, Inc. “Edward is a leader and has contributed significantly to our growth and success. We look forward to working with him as we work toward taking our business to the next level.”

David H. Fleischman, the company’s former CFO, who announced his retirement earlier this year, adds: “Edward’s promotion is well-deserved. He has demonstrated time and again that he has what it takes to be successful in this role, and I couldn’t be happier for him.”

Codispoti began his career at Arthur Andersen, LLP. He is a CPA and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He earned his bachelors and masters degrees in accounting from Florida International University.
