Toronto-based Securities Valuation (SVC) said it will now offer Telekurs Financial’s global pricing data to its customers.

SVC, a global provider of securities data, had sought a long-term partnership with a vendor capable of providing a directly sourced global market data feed, offering flexibility in delivery options, and with an established, stable business practice.

SVC now provides Telekurs pricing data both directly and through the portfolio management solutions of its parent company, Financial Models Company Inc. (FMC).

“We chose Telekurs because it is the only vendor able to meet our broad coverage needs and strict quality and customer service standards,” said Sandra Harris, SVC’s Director of Business Services. “By offering Telekurs pricing data to our customers, we can provide a high quality global data service that is a compelling alternative to the entrenched competitors.”

Telekurs Financial’s Market Data Feed, the source of the prices distributed by SVC, delivers real-time information from its database of more than 2 million global securities. Through its worldwide network of subsidiaries, Telekurs sources market data directly from approximately 200 global exchanges and hundreds of third party contributors.

“Telekurs is delighted to add SVC to our growing list of market data feed customers”, said Barry Raskin, President of Telekurs (USA) Inc. “The addition of Telekurs’ pricing services to their investment management and securities data products is a win-win situation. Our sophisticated data feeds can now be utilized by hundreds of new customers, strengthening SVC’s product offering while expanding our global reach.”
