State Street Corporation has appointed Tom Forrester as managing director and head of its operations in Kansas City.
A 22-year veteran of State Street, Forrester most recently served as senior vice president for State Streets Global Services business in Boston. As head of State Streets Kansas City operations, he will be responsible for growing and developing State Streets businesses and services, which today support many important mutual fund, pension fund, insurance company and asset manager relationships.
With his extensive leadership experience across a broad spectrum of investment servicing solutions, Tom is an ideal choice to head our Kansas City operations, says Alan Greene, executive vice president of State Streets US Global Services business. State Streets Kansas City operations have grown to more than 1,500 employees since its acquisition of Investors Fiduciary Trust Co. from DST Systems Inc. in 1995. The operation provides custody, fund accounting, fund administration and other investment services to mutual fund, insurance, asset manager and pension fund clients.
Forrester joined State Street in 1988 and has held a number of leadership positions in investor services, strategy development and corporate trust. He holds a bachelors degree in business economics from Brown University.
