Transaction Network Services launched its Terminal Management service, created to simplify terminal ownership and maintenance and improve asset management for banks by tracking location and status.
“TNS Terminal Management is ideal for both smaller retailers, who do not have the expertise in-house to deal with terminal issues, and larger retailers and banks who find the management of thousands of terminals a costly and time-consuming exercise,” says Malcolm Cahill at TNS. “We believe that we’re the first provider with the proven experience working with the world’s leading retailers, banks and terminal manufacturers, to offer this kind of application.
“We are already implementing TNS Terminal Management at one major international bank, and we expect further interest from the retail and banking communities over coming months,” adds Cahill. “With tens of thousands of terminals in use, organisations often struggle to keep track of them, as well as keeping them up to date. As valuable assets that need to be accounted for, it makes sense to lease terminals and employ a trusted partner to handle the logistics of installation and maintenance.”
