Tiger Consultants, the specialist fund management consultants, have formed a partnership with Yash Technologies, an Illinois-based software company with an Indian-based subsidiary specilaising in eCommerce, database and networking.
The partnership agreement makes Tiger’s software services division exclusive agents for Yash Technologies’ services in Europe, with Tiger being responsible for marketing the company’s services in the financial sector. Under the agreement, Tiger will have exclusive access to Yash Technologies’ resources, working either on Tiger development projects in Europe or undertaking outsourced development of applications on behalf of Tiger at Yash Technologies’ new development centre in Hyderabad, India.
“This is an important agreement, giving us access to the IT skills and resources of a leading offshore development company,” says Stanton Smith, director of Tiger’s software services division. “This will enable Tiger to undertake more significant projects in the financial services market, combining our mutual expertise and experience across business and technology. We will be able to utilise a range of skill sets, including Actuate, Oracle, Sybase, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft .NET and Java – all of which are core to our focus on data warehousing and reporting for financial services companies.”
Kiran Vaidya, Vice President Marketing at Yash, says that the partnership offered distribution in Europe. “We anticipate that this partnership will enable both companies to increase sales by widening our client base and service offerings,” he says.
