Three Russell Indexes, which measure the benchmarks in funds used by corporatess pension plans and other institutional investment organizations, recorded record highs for the month of March.
The small-cap Russell 2000 Index hit a new high of 766, beating the previous record of 765.14 set on March 31, 2006. In addition, the Russell 2000 Value Index reached a new high of 1117 (previously high was 1116.31 on March 29, 2006) and the Russell 1000 Value Index peaked at 734 (previous record was 728.97 on March 17, 2006).
