Eagle Investment Systems says Threadneedle Asset Management Limited – the GBP50 billion ($81 billion) fund manager recently acquired by American Express – has chosen its Eagle PACE software applications to support its new Investment Information Services (IIS) efforts to streamline internal operations through the building of an information hub to be called “DataNet”. Threadneedle decided to put in place a single distribution platform that would deliver data and information through centralized and standardized processes. In order to help achieve this, Threadneedle is implementing Eagle PACE, a data hub and portfolio management system, Eagle Reference Manager, a security reference data management, validation, and workflow system, and Eagle Message Centre and Eagle Portal.
