Our clear focus on understanding client needs and delivering tailored solutions fosters trust and long-term partnerships with clients. There is also a great collaborative culture within the team, enabling seamless communication across departments. This is critical to ensuring timely and effective service delivery. Individual expertise in areas such as process automation and optimisation, client management, and data analysis further strengthen the overall team performance.
A relentless focus on the client, coupled with automation initiatives deployed by RBC Investor Services’ business intelligence team, has enhanced our overall service delivery during the past year.
Could you outline some of the main achievements and milestones from the year?
Over the past year, we achieved several key milestones. We reduced the processing time for critical tasks by adopting advanced workflow automation, which enabled an
enhanced control framework and a more robust service offering. We also successfully transitioned to the compressed T+1 settlement timeframe for designated brokers and ETF sponsors.
Additionally, we onboarded the first set of an ETF series for one of the largest Canadian asset managers, delivering tailored reporting to meet its needs.
How do you plan to build on this success going into the rest of the year and beyond?
Amidst ongoing growth in the popularity of ETFs across Canada, RBC Investor Services will continue to innovate and enhance our ETF workflows and technology stack while leveraging client feedback to evolve our service delivery and meet clients’ changing needs. We will maintain our exceptional team culture, continuing to deliver exceptional value to clients.
