Three of Thomson Reuters’ products have been selected as finalists for the Software & Information Industry Association’s Annual CODiE Awards.
The three finalists from the Tax & Accounting business of Thomson Reuters are:
-WG&L’s Accounting & Compliance Alert for Best Online Government Information Service. This alert is a daily news service reporting on critical accounting and auditing issues affecting public companies. It features articles with expert guidance on new standards, rules, and regulations as well as opinion pieces by key corporate executives, auditors, and counsel.
-WG&L’s SEC Filings Navigator: Periodic Forms for Best Online Government Information Service. This time-saving workflow tool guides the user through each item within the commonly used forms issued by the SEC. It also provides summary guidance as well as extensive search templates to quickly identify and understand the critical disclosures required for each item.
-PPC’s SMART e-Practice Aids(TM) for Best Solution Integrating Content into Workflow. These electronic aids are in Microsoft(R) Word and Excel formats and are compatible with PPC’s Practice Aids audit titles. They are integrated with Engagement CS(TM) of the CS Professional Suite(R) as well as guidance on Checkpoint(R) — both from the Tax & Accounting business of Thomson Reuters.
“All the companies on this year’s list of CODiE Finalists should feel justifiably proud of their accomplishment in making it to this stage, and have much excitement to look forward to regarding the upcoming CODiE Awards voting,” says Ken Wasch, president, SIIA.
“We are honored to have three of our market-leading solutions selected as finalists for the 2009 CODiE Awards,” says Mark Schlageter, president of the Research & Guidance business within Tax & Accounting.
“This selection recognizes our expertise and reputation as a leading provider of superior research, intelligent information, and innovative software functionality for tax and accounting professionals.”
