Thomson Financial today launched First Call Events and First Call Webcast Events, two new products designed to facilitate communication between listed corporations and fund managers.

First Call Events is a calendar of corporate events, including earnings announcements, conference calls, Webcasts, sell-side conferences and analyst meetings. It covers over 5,000 U.S. public companies, 500 ADRs and “hundreds” of brokerage firms.

First Call Webcast Events provides real-time access to more than 3,500 streaming Webcasts each quarter, covering events such as earnings announcements and executive roundtables.

Fund managers can access Thomson Financial’s corporate content via First Call Web and a variety of other applications, including First Call Analyst, ILX and customized data feeds. First Call Web users can download First Call Events information into their Microsoft Outlook calendars.
