Marc Alvarez has been named senior director of Reference Data Infrastructure at Interactive Data Corporation.
Alvarez is a professional of high caliber with previous experience at Asset Control serving as vice president of products. He also gained product management capacities over a 12-year career at Reuters.
In his current position at Interactive Data Marc Alvarez will manage the utilization and integration of the Companys data sets, data models, workflows and technology capabilities to support its Reference Data strategy and maximize its opportunities in this market.
Marc Alvarez will be based in the Companys New York City office reporting to Robin Simpson, managing director of Reference Data.
Another merit of new senior director is his several publications including Market Data Explained: A Practical Guide to Global Capital Markets Information (October 2006, Butterworth Books, London).
