The Oil & Gas Asset Clearinghouse, an affiliate of Tristone Capital Inc., has expanded its service lines into the Canadian market. David B. Horn, formerly manager of Divestitures for EnCana Corp., joins the Company as a principal. He will be responsible for managing and directing all of The Clearinghouse operations in Canada. The Clearinghouse will introduce both the Hybrid Auction marketing process and Mid-Value (MVN) transaction process to the Canadian marketplace. These operations will be based in the Tristone Capital offices in Calgary.
Additionally, two members of the Tristone Capital team will join Mr. Horn at The Clearinghouse.
Gary Fisher is appointed vice president, auction and will be responsible for the introduction and execution of the Hybrid Auction process. Fisher is one of the founding members of Tristone Capital. He has participated in successful dispositions of over $3 billion and before joining Tristone Capital was a senior business development analyst for a mid-sized Canadian independent producer. Fisher has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Calgary and a Masters degree in Economics from the University of Guelph.
Leslie Kende will also transition to the new Clearinghouse operation as vice president, MVN, overseeing the introduction and execution of the MVN service line. The MVN service combines both auction and negotiated transaction process and will highlight the upside potential for asset dispositions ranging from $5-50 million. Kende joined Tristone in 2003 and has a 15 year background in the upstream energy business, including production and reservoir engineering, business development and commercial assurance. Kende holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geological Engineering (Geophysics) from Queens University and a M.B.A. from Southeastern University.
