Thailand-based Siam Commercial Bank announced its selection of Teradata as the platform for its enterprise data warehouse project.
Teradatas EDW package includes hardware, software and professional services which can be customized to support the business under SCBs management and their analytic data applications.
Before choosing Teradata, SCBs data warehouse ran primarily on an IBM mainframe, until maintenance and ownership costs went higher, resulting in performance and scalability limitations for the bank.
