Tech vendors Confluence and Fundsquare have partnered to facilitate regulatory reporting for national competent authorities (NCAs) as part of the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (AIFMD).

The two firms will integrate their AIFMD solutions to provide easier reporting for asset managers by allowing them to upload files only once, which will then be disseminated to multiple NCAs in the required format.

AIFMD affects asset management companies that manage a European-based alternative investment fund, as it requires them to provide detailed reporting to their respective regulatory jurisdiction regarding their investment strategy and activities, assets, transactions, risks and business relationships.

Confluence is an investment data management provider for asset managers, while Fundsqaure provides market infrastructure platforms for the fund industry.
