Omgeo says Taylor S. Bodman, a partner at Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH), and Robert Kaplan of State Street have joined its Board of Managers. The eleven members of the board are responsible for representing the interests of Omgeo’s clients as decisions about strategy, governance and operations are made.
At BBH, Taylor Bodman heads up technology, notably BBH Infomediary Services, which aims to insource middle- and back-office functions from fund managers; Fund Solutions, which provides execution, custody, and messaging services to mutual funds; and BBH Worldview, an on-line information portal.
“Taylor’s experience in building BBH’s outsourcing capabilities complements Omgeo’s aim to orchestrate solutions for clients of all sizes throughout the post-execution, pre-settlement area of the trade lifecycle,” says Richard Macek, chairman of Omgeo. “He has already demonstrated his dedication to Omgeo as a member and co-chair of our client Advisory Board in the Americas, and we expect his involvement to continue to benefit our company and our clients as he assumes this new role.”

Robert Kaplan is executive vice president and head of Global Services a State Street, where he oversees both securities services and payment services groups. In this capacity, Kaplan is responsible for the daily
processing of all cash- and securities-related activities on a worldwide basis.
