Misys plc, the application software and services company, has appointed Tara Kumar Dutt as Director, Head of Solution Consulting, Asia Pacific for Banking and Capital Markets.
Tara Dutt contributes Misys a wealth of knowledge and experience across banking functions gained from working for both financial institutions and technology application providers to the banking sector. Within his 20 years in the industry, he has served in Mashreq Bank in Dubai, SAP Asia and Siebel Inc.
Before joining Misys Tara Dutt was the Director of Oracle’s Financial Services Industry business unit for Asia Pacific. In the new role Dutt will report to Amanda Buckley, VP Global Sales Operations & Solution Consulting.
Dutt’s previous expertise includes senior roles in consulting, product-solution strategy and business development for the banking industry.
