The shares of Swiss real estate company bfw liegenschaften ag traded for the first time today in the Real Estate Companies segment of the SWX Swiss Exchange.
The issue price was set yesterday (Monday) at CHF 31. The opening price on SWX was CHF 32, which corresponds to a market capitalisation of CHF 143.1 million (excluding greenshoe). In addition to being included in the SPI, bfw liegenschaften is also a component of the SPI EXTRA.
Frauenfeld-based bfw liegenschaften ag has been an active real estate company since early 2004. It focuses on residential properties located in municipalities adjacent to centres of commerce in the German-speaking region of Switzerland.
In 2006, the company generated gross property-related income of CHF 21.7 million and earned a net profit of CHF 8.4 million.
