SuperDerivatives (SD), the derivatives benchmark and multi-asset front office system, has strengthened its Asian strategic sales team with the appointment of Agnes Tan.

Tan joins SD as Head of Strategic Sales for Asia, based in Singapore and reporting to Zohar Hod, VP Strategic Sales and Jacob Matzliah, VP Asia Pacific, bringing with her a wealth of derivatives and financial services expertise.

She will be responsible for tailoring and implementing the companys multi-asset front office and revaluation solutions to a range of clients in the Asian banking and capital markets sectors.

Tan joins from SunGard, where she most recently held the position of Regional Sales Director in China for the capital markets and investment banking sectors.

Before joining SunGard in 2008, Tan worked at multi-bank electronic execution platform 360T Asia Pacific as Sales Manager, covering the corporate and hedge funds market in the region. Prior to this she held a Sales position at Bloomberg, initially in the London office and then Singapore.

Zohar Hod said: “We are excited to expand our strategic solution sales team to Asia. Asia represents a great opportunity and need for our multi-asset derivatives solutions. On-boarding a sales executive at Agnes’ level and experience will help us achieve our goals of sustaining and growing our solution implementations in that region.”
