SunGard has appointed Ben Jackson as chief operating officer of its Kiodex business unit. Jackson joined Kiodex in 2006 as senior vice president of its customer services department.
As chief operating officer, Jackson will lead the Kiodex management team and focus on continuing to develop the business, as well as developing new professional services offerings for Kiodex’s customers, such as its Hedge Consulting and Analytics Services.
Jackson joined SunGard from the Bank of New York where he was a senior officer in the strategic sales, private banking and asset management group. Before this, he was a principal at consultancy James Martin & Co., where he advised Wall Street firms including Goldman Sachs, Wells Fargo, the Bank of New York, Morgan Stanley and other financial institutions.
