Krug Inc., a designer and manufacturer of office furniture solutions, has selected SunGard’s AvantGard Receivables ‘On Demand’ or Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution.

Krug selected AvantGard to help drive automation and workflow around the order-to-cash cycle in order to increase visibility and control, provide continuous process improvements and to help reduce total DSO (Days Sales Outstanding). SunGard’s AvantGard aims to helpl customers to improve liquidity management and operational control around receivables, treasury and payments processing.

AvantGard’s ‘On-Demand’ or Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model claims to offer significant advantages for small-to-medium sized businesses looking to benefit from automation software without the upfront costs associated with licensing. It offers predictable expenses, ease of installation, automatic upgrades and reduced IT resource requirements. It also interfaces with ERP and A/R systems to help streamline and automate the management of credit, collections and dispute resolution.
