SunGards Ambit Messaging Hub has successfully passed the SWIFT Interface Qualification for FIN interfaces. The solution, which provides a single platform on which customers can consolidate all financial messaging activity, regardless of format, has been tested and qualified based on a range of criteria, including validation of the FIN interface, exchange protocol, security and standards support.

The FIN CBT interface of Ambit Messaging Hub provides end-to-end FIN message processing that connects the banks back-office applications in multiple locations directly to SWIFT. This functionality can assist banks in consolidating their messaging infrastructure and in deploying new services quickly and cost-effectively. The Ambit Messaging Hub offers an enterprise-wide single interface for SWIFT services, including branches and customers. Ambit Messaging Hub supports any message standard, can run on any platform and is database agnostic.

The FIN qualification is a clear recognition of Ambit Messaging Hubs compliance, flexibility and delivery capabilities, says Hans Cobben, executive vice-president, global messaging solutions for SunGards Ambit Messaging business unit. Ambit Messaging Hub offers a single operation Web interface for both business and IT users, each with its own flavor and personal view. It supports all SWIFT services including FileAct, InterAct and FIN, providing banks with a messaging solution that can help them to achieve a lower cost of ownership and streamlined infrastructure.
