SunGard eProcess Intelligence announced today that its new Customer Service solution is among the first vendor solutions to be awarded the latest certification from SWIFT for SWIFTNet Ready.

intelliTRAN Customer Service provides global correspondent banks, clearing firms, treasury operations, and asset managers with Web-based access to financial information. The solution contains a library of standard templates and business processes to provide a complete research repository for the investigation and exception management of instructions, settlements, advices, and balances. Customer service is extended internally across the enterprise to operations, cash and collateral managers, customer service centers, and externally to an institution’s counterparties and clients.

The Customer Service solution permits secure access to financial information both from within and outside an institution, incorporating SWIFT’s XML structured Query and Response messages to expedite exception processing over IP-based networks, such as SWIFTNet.

Suzanne Sisolak, vice president of product management at SunGard eProcess Intelligence, commented, “We are honored to be among the first to receive SWIFTNet Ready accreditation. Using SWIFTNet messaging services and new XML-based standards, intelliTRAN CS enables service providers to improve their service by offering access to real-time information in a secure, reliable and standardized way. Users are able to improve their management of risk and liquidity by virtue of their access to real-time information on their nostro accounts and cash transactions.”

“We are very pleased to grant the new SWIFTNet Ready label for Cash Reporting to intelliTRAN Customer Service, the latest solution from SunGard eProcess Intelligence. Their achievement is a result of SunGard’s pro-active involvement in this SWIFT initiative,” commented Lazaro Campos, head of marketing and member of the executive committee at SWIFT.

Cris Conde, SunGard’s president and chief executive officer , will be presenting at a SWIFT Special Interest Session during Sibos 2002 in Geneva. The session, “SWIFTNet: Powering up Partner Solutions” will be held on Tuesday, 1 October, 16:00 – 17:30.
