SunGard today launched its new MINT RMA (Relationship Management Application) module, an application that allows the central management of relationships between SWIFTNet FIN correspondents through the exchange of RMA authorizations.
MINT RMA is offered to existing customers of SunGard’s MINT in response to the mandatory adoption of RMA capabilities required by the migration of SWIFTNet FIN to Phase 2.Co-hosted on the same machines as MINT and designed to re-use the existing MINT SWIFTNet infrastructure, MINT RMA offers a solution for RMA message handling, auditing and authorization.
A single Oracle database is able to manage relationships of multiple MINT instances and multi-bank configurations, while delivery through a web-user interface enables global access, centralized maintenance capabilities and user interface compatibility.
“The deadlines for SWIFTNet Phase 2 migration dictate that, as of April 2008, our customers will be required to demonstrate use of SWIFT’s live RMA service meaning there is a critical and immediate need for solutions such as this,” says Don Tyson, chief technology officer for SunGard’s STeP business unit.
