SunGard has appointed Damian Powell to the position of general manager of SunGard’s APSYS business unit. Powell joins SunGard from Beauchamp Financial Technology Limited where he was director and head of sales for EMEA and Asia.
Prior to Beauchamp, Powell worked for 12 years for Thomson Financial in a number of positions and for four years at Thomson Global Markets as sales director. Powell reports to Daniel Bardini, president of SunGard ‘s APSYS business unit.
APSYS III is an application designed primarily to handle transactions for the private and institutional clients of international private banks.
