business process integration platform, Sterling Integrator, has been praised by French analysts CXP.

“The product is particularly well positioned within the B2B integration market,” says CXP analyst Muriel Guenon. “It offers numerous EDI formats and supports AS2 and other communications standards such as RosettaNet and ebXML. It also offers businesses a solution to centralise their trading partner management. Sterling Commerce’s experience in the B2B market also is an undeniable benefit to businesses, who can leverage their years of expertise to quickly integrate the solution and begin to realise the productivity and cost-benefits of complete enterprise application integration.”

Sterling says the study also emphasises the specific features of Sterling Integrator’s BPM-based architecture, which delivers automated process management. “All integration, transformation and routing rules are defined via the BPM layer. The product also supports human interaction within business processes such as user validations,” adds Guenon.

Roy Lee, Vice President Marketing, Sterling Commerce, EMEA, is pleased. “For Sterling Integrator to be named as one of France’s leading business integration solutions is a huge endorsement for our flagship solution,” he says. “The report’s findings firmly underline what we strive to deliver to our customers in supporting their business process management and integration needs.”
