Starting Oct. 16, Stephen Williams will step into the role of senior portfolio manager for Global/EAFE for MFC Global Investment Management.
Williams’ appointment comes as part of the company’s effort to expand its international investment capabilities Steve Tyson, chief investment officer for MFC Global Investment Management, says.
Williams will work from the company’s London office and will be responsible for managing the organization’s specialist Global and EAFE equity portfolios.
“We regard the Global and EAFE equity market as a clear growth area for us,” Tyson says. “Having Stephen join our team strengthens that opportunity as he brings a wealth of experience and a strong track record of managing Global and EAFE equity portfolios.”
Williams’ previous appointments include serving with Citigroup Asset Management and AXA Investment Managers.
