The Edhec Risk and Asset Management Research Centre has recruited Stephane Daul, who has a PhD in theoretical physics from the University of Fribourg and is head of risk research at the Swiss company EIM.

He will be involved in the centre’s activities as a research associate and will work on quantifying and modelling operational risk in hedge funds with Jean-Rene Giraud, CEO of Edhec-Risk Advisory. This research project, which will commence in 2005, will be part of the research programme on extreme risk measurement led by Jean-Christophe Meyfredi, head of the Economics & Finance department at Edhec Business School.
