State Street Promotes Bonn, Hires Minderides for Transition Management Group

Nicholas Bonn, executive vice president of State Street Global Markets, has been appointed global head of its portfolio solutions activities worldwide, which include its transition management and equity trading businesses. The firm also appointed John Minderides as head of its portfolio solutions business for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

Nicholas Bonn, executive vice president of State Street Global Markets, has been appointed global head of its portfolio solutions activities worldwide, which include its transition management and equity trading businesses. The firm also appointed John Minderides as head of its portfolio solutions business for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

Bonn has been head of the Securities Finance division since 2010 and is a GC Legend.

Minderides will be based in London and report to Bonn. Previously, Minderides was managing director and global head of transition management at J.P. Morgan with responsibility for teams in London, New York, Sydney and Tokyo. Previously, he was head of product and research at ITG Europe, where he created the portfolio trading and research division. He was also responsible for establishing the transition management team at Barclays Global Investors.

With more than two decades of experience, Johns broad industry knowledge will be vital for ensuring we continue building our industry leadership across the EMEA region, says Bonn, who founded the companys transition management business.
