State Street Global Advisors has launched the SPDR MSCI All Country World Index (ACWI) ex-US ETF.

The benchmark for the ETF is the MSCI All Country World ex USA Index, which includes developed and emerging markets stocks outside the United States. State Street says that the CWI ETF is the first of its kind to offer comprehensive international exposure to both of these markets.

“This new ETF complements our diverse offering of international ETFs, which span developed and emerging economies, by providing the most comprehensive international equity exposure available in a single trade,” says James Ross, the senior managing director of State Street Global Advisors. “In fact, investors can cover the entire spectrum of global equity markets by combining CWI with our SPDR DJ Wilshire Total Market ETF.”

State Street recently launched the SPDR DJ Wilshire International Real Estate ETF on the American Stock Exchange. RWX is based on the Dow Jones Wilshire ex-US Real Estate Securities Index and State Street says it is the first ETF to monitor performance of publicly traded global real estate securities outside of the United States.
