State Street Global Advisors (SSgA), the investment management business of State Street corporation (NYSE:STT), has strengthened its cash management team with two new appointments.

Kevin Thomson and Adam Sadiq have both been appointed as regional sales directors for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. They are based in SSgAs London office and are responsible for the distribution of liquidity products across the EMEA region. Both report to Jennifer Hole, head of SSgAs EMEA cash business. These appointments are in addition to two new client service managers added to the EMEA cash business team earlier this year.

Both Kevin and Adam have extensive experience in the money markets industry, says Hole. They bring a wealth of talent and experience to our growing team, and their influence will be key in our plans to build an ever-stronger position in the EMEA region.

Thompson joined State Street Global Advisors from portal provider ICD, where he was head of business development with responsibility for developing the business outside of North America. Before this he was managing director for Fidelity Internationals cash business and was managing director of money market funds at Standard Life Investments.

Sadiq joins State Street Global Advisors from Western Asset Management Company, where he was responsible for developing the companys liquidity and short-term fixed-income business. He was also an account manager (fixed income) for Socit Gnrale Corporate and Investment Banking business.
