State Street appoints new head of Paris branch

State Street has appointed Jordao to lead its Global Services business in France and further enhance the branch's strategy.

State Street has appointed Olga Jordao as the new branch manager for State Street Bank International in Paris.

Jordao will be responsible for managing the State Street Global Services business in France, which include its custody and fund administration businesses, and further enhance the branch’s strategy within Continental Europe.

“Our office in France continues to play an important role in our European presence,” said Stefan Gmuer, CEO of State Street Bank International.

“Olga’s experience and background will bring a fresh, strategic perspective to the role to help maintain the strength of our business in Europe for years to come and further enhance our capabilities as our clients essential partner.”

A 26-year veteran of State Street, Jordao was most recently chief operating officer for global clients in Paris, where she was responsible for leading a global virtual team to achieve optimised operating models, developing strategic account plans, and enhancing service delivery.
