Standard Chartered Bank has moved two of its veterans to top spots within its securities services department.

The bank appointed Neil Daswani to serve as its global head of securities services and Michael Palagonia as its head of securities services for New York.

In his new position, Daswani will be responsible for overseeing all of the banks securities services.

Daswani has formerly worked as group head of securities services product management from 2000 to 2003 where he spearheaded the strategy and product teams that introduced the bank to the Asian regional securities services marketplace.
