Standard Chartered Bank Appoints Global Head of E-Sales

Standard Chartered Bank has appointed Michele Wee as Global Head of E-Sales.

Based in Singapore, Wee is responsible for leading the Global E-Sales team which is responsible for setting and executing the banks e-strategy across the Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities businesses for all clients in Financial Markets.

In this newly-created role, Wee reports jointly to Zeeshan Khan, Head of E-Commerce and to Adrian Walkling, Global Head of Financial Institutions Sales.

We are excited to have Michele join us,” says Walkling. “Her e-commerce expertise will be critical in helping us deliver a great online experience for clients accessing our footprint markets of Asia, Africa and the Middle East.

Wee joins Standard Chartered from Deutsche Bank where she was most recently Head of e-FX and e-FI Sales for Asia. She has over 17 years of experience in FX trading and e-platform sales and marketing.

With Micheles experience in supporting clients business needs, we expect to set new standards of excellence in e-commerce across our footprint countries,” says Khan.
