Standard Chartered has appointed Chris Allington as global head of FX.
Allington was most recently head of FX, West and FX Options, and Regional Head, FX, Rates & Credit, Europe & Americas at the bank. He joined Standard Chartered in 2010 and was based in London. In his new capacity, Allington will take an increased leadership role with responsibilities across all FX products, and with teams across the bank to accelerate the growth of Standard Chartered’s FX business.
He continues to report to Nitin Gulabani, global head, FX, Rates & Credit, and will be based in Singapore.
