SS&C Technologies has rolled out a series of new releases across its flagship Advent platforms to take on greater outsourcing and administrative workflows.

The releases are across its full line of SS&C Advent solutions and include a new console to support a growing number of clients using its Advent Outsourcing Services (COS).

SS&C stated its users would benefit from real-time transparency and the ability to view outsourced workflow processes on demand. The tech giant also said clients would be able to validate to regulators they have proven oversight of their outsourced activity.

Client feedback has been instrumental in driving development across our solutions, resulting in a robust set of enhancements,” said Karen Geiger, chief development officerSS&C Advent. “We’ve added flexibility, scalability and new workflows. We continue to invest in our solutions to provide clients with faster, easier-to-use and more powerful functionality.”

The firm has also rolled out a new release of Geneva to deliver complex counterparty reconciliation improvements and new workflows to simplify common equity swap processing, such as re-rating hard-to-borrow securities.

Over recent months, SS&C Technologies has launched a range of new services and capabilities across its platforms. Last month, it went live with Advent TransPort, an addition to its Advent Data Solutions, enabling users to customise and standardise custodial data before loading into their accounting platforms.

The fund administration and technology giant has also been busy on the M&A front, acquiring Capita’s Ireland-based pensions and life insurance administration business, and completing the takeover of asset servicing tech provider Innovest Systems for $120 million.

Many of our wealth and retirement clients need unique technology and expertise required to service trusts. This investment underscores our commitment to bring value-added technology and building out our wealth management technology offerings,” said Bill Stone, chairman and CEO of SS&C Technologies on completion of the deal.
