SS&C Hedge Fund Index Rises in August

The gross return of the SS&C GlobeOp Hedge Fund Performance Index bounced back from a slight decline in July to have a positive return for August 2014, measuring 1.10%.

Meanwhile, the SS&C GlobeOp Capital Movement Index shows that hedge fund flows advanced 0.58% in September.

“Subscriptions were nearly double that of redemptions for September, although capital activity was generally lower overall,” says Bill Stone, chairman and Chief Executive Officer, SS&C Technologies.

Year to date, the performance index is up 5.06%.
