The SS&C GlobeOp Forward Redemption Indicator came in at 4.21% in September, staying largely in line with the monthly results since a low of 2.04% in January 2013.
“Forward redemptions increased slightly in September, with the bulk of activity reflecting quarter-end requests,” said Bill Stone, chairman and chief executive officer, SS&C Technologies.
The SS&C GlobeOp Forward Redemption Indicator measure the sum of forward redemption notices received from investors in hedge funds administered by SS&C GlobeOp, divided by the assets under administration at the beginning of the month.
The bulk of redemption notices in September, 2.68%, were received less than a month before the redemption date.
SS&C GlobeOp’s next redemption report will come out on October 21.
