SS&C GlobeOp Forward Redemptions Indicator Falls In July

The SS&C GlobeOp Forward Redemption Indicator for July decreased to 2.71% from 3.88% the previous month.

“The July Indicator decreased from June by approximately 1%, but remains consistent with historical averages for the month,” said Bill Stone, chairman and CEO, SS&C Technologies.

The SS&C GlobeOp Forward Redemption Indicator represents the sum of forward redemption notices received from investors in hedge funds administered by SS&C GlobeOp on the GlobeOp platform, divided by the AuA at the beginning of the month for SS&C GlobeOp fund administration clients on the GlobeOp platform. Forward redemptions as a percentage of SS&C GlobeOp’s assets under administration on the GlobeOp platform have trended significantly lower since reaching a high of 19.27% in November 2008.

The year-to-date GlobeOp Hedge Fund Performance Index has a flash estimate for the current month of -1.94%, while the year-to-date performance is measured at 5.06%.
