SS&C Technologies Holdings, Inc., has acquired BDO Simpson Xavier Fund Administration Services Limited, a division of BDO.
The finalized agreement, first announced on August 19 adds the Dublin-based fund administrator to SS&C’s existing global fund administration business. The addition of the regulated and operational office in Dublin provides SS&C entry into the strategically important European regulated funds market, providing support for additional fund structures, including UCITS and QIF funds. SS&C is rapidly moving toward deploying its advanced portal and mobile technologies to the European marketplace.
SS&C’s global fund administration business has $224 billion in assets under administration and about 500 staff to service the hedge fund, fund of funds, private equity and managed accounts industry.
