New York Attorney General Eliot Spitzer is preparing to sue former New York Stock Exchange chairman Dick Grasso and the NYSE board which approved Grasso’s controversial pay package, according to a report in the Wall Street Journal. The story, citing an anonymous source, says Spitzer is prepared to sue Grasso for the return of as much as $120 million in pay he received. But a final decision has yet to be made. New NYSE CEO John Thain has said the NYSE wants a “very substantial return” of Grasso’s pay.
